Why should i use gotikket?

gotikket's aims to ease the pent up frustration in South-eastern Europe for a smoother, frictionless, more efficient-booking and purchasing process. Some of the advantages of gotikket are:

Do i need to register to use gotikket?

Not at all, there's no need to register or set up an account. However, if you do register your details will be saved, making the next time you book even easier and faster!

Does booking online cost me more?

Not at all! The price of the bus ticket is the same as you would get from the bus operator too. There are no hidden charges and we pay all the associated transaction costs, giving you complete peace of mind.

Is it necessary to printout the ticket before i travel?

This depends on local regulations and the bus operator you have booked your ticket with. On booking you'll receive an e-ticket to your smart phone App along with email from which you'll be able to print off a paper copy. This provides you with more choice, greater convenience and peace of mind.

For operators that support the e-ticket, present the e-ticket on your smartphone at the time of boarding and you will be allowed to travel.

For the operators that do not support e-tickets, it is essential to take a printout of the e-ticket and produce it at the time of boarding. The e-ticket is sent to the e-mail ID provided at the time of booking.

I've lost my ticket. What should I do now?

You will find your e-ticket on our smart phone App in “My Tickets”. A copy of the e-ticket would have also been sent to you by e-mail when you booked it. Please take a printout of that e-mail and produce it at the time of boarding. If you have not received the ticket e-mail, please contact us https://gotikket.com/en/contact-us, provide a few details and our team will re-send you a copy by e-mail.

What is an e-ticket?

An e-ticket is an electronic version of the ticket that will be sent to your smart phone on booking a ticket with us. This e-ticket has some smart security features to give you peace of mind along with other ticket related information. It can be used to board the bus.

I didn’t receive my e-ticket. Can you re-send it?

Your e-ticket is available on the App on your smart phone, please go to “My tickets” on the App. In case you don’t have a copy of the e-ticket, please contact us https://gotikket.com/en/contact-us, provide a few details and our team will assist you further.

I entered the wrong mobile number while booking what should I do?

Can I cancel my ticket online?

Most of the tickets can be cancelled online, subject to the specific Terms and Conditions of the bus operating company you booked with. These are the T&C’s you agreed to when you made your booking and purchase. Also, please beware, that the cancellation fee and cancellation period may differ for specific bus services.

However, there are some tickets that can only be cancelled by contacting us https://gotikket.com/en/contact-us, provide a few details and our team will assist you further.

How can I cancel my bus ticket online?

You need to click on the cancellation link provided on our home page on either our web site or App. Enter your ticket number and the e-mail ID that was provided at the time of booking and click on cancel ticket.

I missed the bus. Do I get a refund?

gotikket provides a 100% refund if the bus is missed due to either gotikket or its’ partner company's fault. However, if the bus is missed due to any other reason not directly related to gotikket no refund is provided.

How can I get a refund in case I cancel my ticket?

The refund is provided according to the cancellation policy of the specific bus operating company you booked with. You will have agreed to these terms when you made your booking and purchase. The refund will be credited to the source of payment used for the booking, for example., debit card, credit card or net banking.

Is it safe to use my credit/debit card on this site?

Your on-line safety and peace of mind is our top priority. All transactions on gotikket are very safe. We employ best-in-class security technology to ensure transactions are done securely.

Does the owner of the credit card with which the ticket is purchased need to be one of the passengers?

Not at all! A passenger can use any card to pay for the ticket, not necessarily their own. In some instances, the passenger in whose name the ticket is booked should carry a proof of identity (along with the ticket) at the time of boarding the bus. Please refer to the specific terms and conditions of the bus operating company you booked with (these were the terms and conditions you agreed to when the booking was made and purchased).

What payment options do I have?

The different payment options are:

  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Internet banking (Internet enabled online bank account)

How does the transaction appear on my card / account statement?

Transactions on gotikket will appear as gotikket.com in your bank statement.

Do you provide an invoice?

Unfortunately, at this stage – we do not. Most of the bus operating companies we work with consider the ticket to be the invoice.

How can I choose a seat?

Seat selection depends on the bus operating company you booked with. Where you complete a booking for multiple travellers, gotikket will automatically assign seats as close together as possible depending upon seat availability. Specific seats cannot be selected manually but in the future, we would expect to apply the seating preferences you would have made during the booking process whenever possible.

Is my seat included in the ticket cost?

Each bus operating company has it’s own unique seat assignment policy. Seat allocation is usually included in the cost of the ticket and where not you may be required to pay a supplement – this will be clearly explained at the time of booking. Some bus operating companies have no reserved seating, in which case you are free to take any of the available seats.

Is it possible to make a Group reservation?

gotikket is unable to offer bookings for groups of more than 3 passengers. For larger groups you will need to book multiple times in order to get the required number of tickets. We’re also not able to guarantee that the tickets prices will benefit from any group discount or will be at the same price. Please refer to your specific bus operating company for further details.
